• clinic information such as its name, address, contact details, website, services, specialties, opening hours, and map link;
• correction requests, editorial enquiries, and supporting information; and
• your confirmation that you are authorised to provide submitted information.

Clinic-submission contact details are kept in a private editorial review queue. Clinic information intended for the public directory may be published after review. A submitter's name, role, and business email are not published unless they are also deliberately supplied as the clinic's public contact details.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, our hosting, security, and content-management systems may process technical information such as your IP address, browser or device type, user-agent string, requested pages, timestamps, and referring page. Search terms and filters placed in a page URL may also appear in standard server logs.

When enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical and interaction data to check whether a clinic submission is legitimate. We also use a privacy-preserving value derived from an IP address to limit repeated submissions for a short period.

Sensitive information

Available Clinics is not a patient portal and does not need your medical records, symptoms, identification documents, payment-card information, or other sensitive health information. Please do not include this information in a submission or email.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

• review, verify, publish, update, or remove clinic listings;
• respond to enquiries, corrections, and requests;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
• detect spam, fraud, misuse, and duplicate submissions;
• keep an editorial record of listing decisions; and
• meet legal obligations and protect our rights and users.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we generally rely on our legitimate interests in operating an accurate and secure directory, steps taken at your request, consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis for processing.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

The website may use strictly necessary cookies or similar technologies required for security, traffic management, and form protection. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare may place or read security-related cookies as part of its challenge service.

If you choose “Allow analytics” in our cookie notice, Google Analytics may use cookies such as _ga to distinguish browsers and help us understand page visits, navigation, approximate location, device information, and site performance. Analytics is disabled until you make that choice. We disable Google advertising signals and do not use analytics consent for personalised advertising.

We store your analytics choice in your browser's local storage so the website can remember it. You can change that choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. Choosing necessary cookies only removes Google Analytics cookies that this site can access and prevents further analytics collection on subsequent page loads.

You can also control cookies through your browser. Blocking necessary security technology may prevent a form from working. A clinic or other third-party website you visit from our directory has its own privacy and cookie practices.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

• providers that support hosting, content management, email delivery, security, and anti-spam checks, only as needed to provide those services;
• a clinic or its authorised representative when necessary to verify a listing;
• professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies, or other parties when disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights and safety;
• a successor organisation in connection with a merger, financing, sale, or transfer of all or part of the service, subject to appropriate safeguards; and
• the public, but only for information approved for a published clinic listing.

We do not sell personal information.

5. International transfers

Our website is available internationally, and service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use recognised safeguards for these transfers. Privacy protections may differ between countries.

6. Retention and security

We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including editorial record-keeping, resolving disputes, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. Retention periods vary according to the type of record and why it is held.

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
